[ Personal Critique Thread ]

Am I doing it wrong? Did I suspend reality (and characterization) a little too much, even for Poly?

I'm not the perfect roleplayer, and I've never claimed to be, but I would like to do the best that I can so that everyone can have the best experience possible.

In light of that, a critique thread! Feel free to use it. Comments are screened, so really, say what you want, however you want, and so forth.

Wuv. ♥

I think the stores in the City are really some of the most interesting I've ever seen. Occasionally, you can find things from other worlds, things that you never would have encountered otherwise. And isn't that what we should be aiming to do, while we're here? Learning.

Ahaha, but look at me-- I'm sounding all philosophical. I should really leave that to my boss; he does it much better than I do. Maybe Ichigo would even be better, because he has the frown for the job. Pensive!

However, one thing definitely hasn't changed. The urge to go shopping. I splurged on a set of headphones-- almost an entire pay period's worth of money! They work really well, but then I realized... that I don't have much music with me here. Does anyone have music from their world that they'd like to share?

Or even just stories. Do you live with spirits, do you live with robots? On the ground, in space? My life isn't very interesting, so I guess I'd like to live vicariously for a moment. I'll treat the person with the best story to Cafe Juliet's delicious coffee cake?

(Keigo, you're not qualified. I'll treat you to cake anyway, though.)

Ichigo, is there something you'd like for your birthday? And don't refuse, otherwise I might just have to guess, and Keigo will tell you how good I am at doing that.

filtered from Ichigo & rest of Karakura gang; posted from alternate account;

A very special friend of mine has a birthday coming up tomorrow, and a party which I plan to help make the most memorable yet in his life. But since he isn't exactly the video games type, and I'm not sure if he'll enjoy anything until I wipe that perma-frown off his face, I was wondering if I might hire some very pleasurable company for him tonight! ♥

Willing to pay a pretty significant amount-- nothing too demanding, you see. Perhaps a dancer or two? The last curse has made him partial to belly dancers, and I'm afraid I'm not exactly up to the task myself.

The City certainly is interesting! Fish swimming in my toilet yesterday; thank goodness Ura♥hara-san's shop has more than one. I was told that some curses would be much more unfortunate than this past curse, so complacency isn't an option, but to thank the deities for the good fortune I've had so far, I think gratitude is in order?

Thank you, deities. I'm sure that it's difficult watching over a rowdy group like us.

And, of course, on that note, this will probably be necessary at some point, and so why not sooner rather than later?

I apologize in advance (or belatedly, depending) for anything Kurosaki Ichigo may say or do in the City.
He means well, really.

I do not, however, vouch for Asano Keigo. Rather, I would suggest that the fairer sex be a little more cautious around him-- while he has a good heart, he often gets one head mixed with the other when making decisions, if you'll pardon my French.

[ video post; ]

[ There's a young man standing next to the carousel, blinking confusedly and eyeing his surroundings slowly before noticing a laptop nearby. He looks around, and, seeing no one nearby, walks closer to the laptop, clicking around hesitantly and typing god knows what, before noticing the small camera lens near the corner of the screen. ]

Ah, apologies to the owner of this laptop for borrowing it for a little while. It would appear, however, that I have managed to lose my way, and somehow wound up in unfamiliar territory. If there is anyone from the area who is willing to direct me back to Karakura town, in Western Tokyo, Japan, that would be very much appreciated.

[ Suddenly, a sound suspiciously reminiscent of a stomach growl sounds over the post, and the boy blinks before flailing slightly in front of the camera, a light flush rising on his cheeks. ]

...s-sorry about that! Ahaha. I haven't eaten in a while, but I'm sure I'll be able to find a restaurant in the area... most places accept Visa, don't they?
